When my friend asked me to select place to go for the weekend, only place came to my mind was Mukruti in Nilgris. I have been to this place many times before and words cant explain the beauty of this very isolated and silent place.
The Mukruti Dam was opened in 1938 and there is a power station.
Recently this place has been declared as UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. I am not sure whether i can visit this place again, but the memories will last forever.
